RIVERFORD UNVIVERSITY OF OPEN LEARNING

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology prepares students to build, manage, and innovate the core technical infrastructure that powers modern organizations. This program focuses on systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure, with a deep, practical specialization in how to deploy and manage intelligent systems. This program focuses on the practical implementation of AI. Students learn to build and manage the cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and systems required to deploy and scale machine learning models in real-world environments.

OBJECTIVES
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology aims to:

Build expertise in managing enterprise IT systems, including networks, servers, and cloud platforms.

Develop the technical skills required to deploy, monitor, and maintain AI and machine learning applications.

Provide a strong foundation in IT service management and infrastructure automation.

Prepare graduates to be the technical architects of intelligent systems.

EXPECTED PROGRAM – LEVEL OUTCOMES

Educate:
Students will understand the principles of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and the lifecycle of machine learning models.

Develop:
Students will be able to design and manage secure and scalable IT systems and deploy AI applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Grow:
